Today is my off day. The last of my off days, actually. I need to use all my leave days for my trip to Japan.

Kenji goes for his tennis club. It was a horrible day for him.

健二：今日は調子悪いな。ほとんど拾えなかった…。

愛花：カッコイイところ、みせてね♥

Shut up. I’m having a cold today.

Kenji’s handphone rings. Manaka wants to go to the beach with him.

I almost forgot: Kenji also has a free day today.

健二：もしもし

愛花：もしもし。わたし、愛花だよ。今いい？

健二：いいよ、どうした？

愛花：あのね…。急だけど、今から会いたいな。ここでいいかな？（海水浴場）

健二：いいよ。

愛花：じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？

健二：そうだな…。11:00 AM

愛花：ちょっと早くないかな？その…準備とか…。

健二：そう？じゃあ…。

愛花：じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？

健二：そうだな…。02:00 PM

愛花：うん、それでいいよ。

健二：じゃあ、ＰＭ２時０分に新とわの駅で。

愛花：ふふ、決まりね。やった。

健二：うん。

愛花：じゃ、またね。

健二：うん。じゃあ、また。

（…）

愛花：ほら。電話、切ろうよ。

健二：そっちだって。

愛花：切りたくないな…。じゃあ…好き！〈ビッ〉

健二：え！？　（び、びっくりした）

Honestly, I have no idea how ready I am for a 1400 hrs appointment. For all I know I have to do another black magic thing again.

Kenji receives a text from Manaka after the telephone conversation.

愛花：今回はわたしから連絡したけど、今度はちゃんとカレシから誘ってね？なんて

Kenji arrives at New Towano Station 5 minutes early.

They talk as they walk to the beach.

健二：シーズンオフだと、人がいないなー。

愛花：わたしは、これくらいのほうがいいけど。

健二：どうして？

愛花：だって、あなたと…のう、その顔！わかってて言ってる 。イジワル！

健二：（うんうん、ごちそうさま！）

Kenji brings Manaka back to her house. It was a short date.

店長：フェアに向けて、店内のディスプレイをお願いしたいんだけど…。

健二：わかりました。

…

店長：おぉ、見事だな。君に頼んでよかった。

健二：（センスを磨いておいたおかげかな…）

愛花：やっぱり、センスいいね。憧れちゃうな、なんて。ふふ！

Kenji goes to the riverside restaurant for his dinner. He thinks to himself that the view from the restaurant is great, and he should go there when he dates Manaka.

As he goes to sleep, he thinks to himself that Christmas is coming soon.

健二：そういえば、もうすぐクリスマスだな…。
Kenji: Come to think of it, it’s going to be Christmas soon…

As he falls asleep , he imagines Manaka telling him 「茶柱、立て～！」
