It’s the day of their date. Kenji arrives at the park 20 minutes early. Manaka is not there yet. She arrives soon after. She is dressed rather casually. After kissing, they proceed to their date.

Manaka is feeling a bit thirsty, so she wants to have a drink first.

愛花：喉渇いちゃった、ね、お茶にしよっか？

健二：いいね、そうしよう。

They go to the nearby fast food restaurant, Winning Burger.

健二：ああ、なるほど…ども無理してやってもいいことまいんじゃないか？それにマナカちゃん、あまり夜更かしはできないんじゃなかったっけ。

愛花：…だから今のうちに練習するんです。コツ、おしえてくれないかな。そうすれば、きっとどうにかなると思うの。だから、ね？

健二：（コツって言われても…あるか？）

After their short break at the fast food restaurant, they walk to the bowling alley. 

愛花：雲の形が、どんどん変わってく…。

健二：ああ、今日は風がちょっとあるからな。

愛花：人の気持ちに喩えられたりするけど、そう考えるとちょっと寂しいね？

健二：でも、俺らには無縁の話だな…

愛花：…ふふっ、うん、そうだよね？あ、ほら、あの雲、ドーナツみたい！

They arrive at the bowling alley and start bowling. 

健二：マナカちゃん。ひょっとして、手、痛い？

愛花：どうしてわかったの？

健二：そりゃ、マナカちゃんのことずっと見てるから、俺。

愛花：もう。…それは、わたしだって負けてないんだから。

健二：（マナカちゃん…）

They kiss at the bowling alley. Kenji manages to leave Manaka wanting for more, and they kiss 14 times in total.

They still have time, so Kenji suggests going to the zoo. It’s part of the stamp rally anyway, so it is just fine. Manaka agrees with his suggestion.

健二：どこ？…行っちゃった…。

愛花：…見間違いだったみたい。ごめんなさい、一人にさせて。

健二：そんなに落ち込むなって。次のときは俺も一緒に追いかけるからさ。

愛花：…うん！ありがとう。

While waiting for an opportune moment to hold Manaka’s hand, he waits for too long and Manaka becomes slightly impatient.

愛花：手がね、寂しいなって、言ってるみたい。

They arrive at the zoo. Manaka asks Kenji where they should go.

愛花：どこ行こっか？うーん、やっぱり決めて？

健二：そうだな。

He evaluates his options:

• キリン (Giraffe exhibit)
•  ライオン (Lion exhibit)
• ふれあい広場 (Petting zoo)

He chooses the petting zoo, since it has Manaka’s favourite animal. Also because last time he brought her to the zoo, Manaka indicated she didn’t really like the giraffe suggestion.

愛花：いいかも。じゃあ、行こっか。

愛花：わたし…今日は帰りたくない…。

健二：えっ！？

愛花：だって、こんなにいっぱいウサギがいるのよ？ね、もっとエサ、あげよう？

健二：（びっくりした…）

Not completely unexpected. Should have mentally prepared yourself before bringing her to the petting zoo, Kenji.

Again, they kiss.

愛花：今日は、また素敵な思い出が増えちゃった。これもカノジョの特権だよね。もう少し、いいかな…。

They walk to Manaka’s home. Before sending her off, Manaka tells him she has forgotten something. Kenji tries to kiss her, but since the neighbours are watching, he decides not to.

Later on, Kenji goes to the garden…

A quick Google search shows that diving penguins have denser bones than normal birds to allow negative buoyancy. There is no prior documentation for this question, so I am taking a plunge here by choosing 重い.

I’m pretty sure “apple of discord” has nothing to do with peace. I’m choosing争いの種.

Dang, what a biggie. Both answers fit the phonetic reading. However, Google Translate recommends感心, so I will be choosing that. The documentation agrees with it, so I should have no issues.
