Today’s start message is わたしね、会いたいよって思ってた。Or something along those lines.

Kenji’s still not at his top form, so I will still be scheduling a rest time for him this evening. Always good to take it easy once in a while.

The two walk to school together.

健二：埋蔵金絡みの話。聞いた？

愛花：進展があったの？

健二：とうとう、OBたちまで話に乗りたいって言ってきたらしい。どんどん話が大きくなってる感じだな。

愛花：ふぅん…。

健二：ん？

愛花：OBが流した噂なんだったら解りやすいなって。わたし、埋蔵金は絶対その線だと思ってたんだけど…。

健二：その線って？

愛花：タイムカプセル。あれって実は、探すのかなり大変みたいだし。

Now that it has been mentioned, a time capsule would be a more plausible thing to bury in a school than anything else.

健二：ああ、なるほどな！

愛花：でもそうじゃないなら…埋蔵金の話はどこから？

健二：噂の出所さえわかればなぁ。

During lunch break…

愛花：健二くん。一つだけ、聞いていい？

健二：うん、いいけど？

愛花：ねぇ？わたしね、ちょっと髪型。変えてみようかなと思って。リクエスト、あるかな？

健二：髪型か…うーん、そうだな…。

After evaluating his options, Kenji suggests Manaka go for a semi-long hairstyle.

健二：そうだな…ここは、セミロングだな。

愛花：セミロング？

健二：だってさ、ショートもいいけどロングも、ザ・マナカちゃんって感じで、どっちも捨てがたくて…

愛花：それで、セミロング？ふふっ、ヘンなの。

健二：そうかな？一つのソリューションだろ、これもさ。

愛花：はぁい。じゃあ、そうしてみます。ふふ♥

健二：（セミロングのマナカちゃん。楽しみだな！）

Kenji is excited to see how Manaka turns out with semi-long hair.

Yeah… I’m curious as well.

As they walk home, they discuss about the clock at the gym. (See 19 November)

健二：体育館の時計、修理されたみたいだな。

愛花：あっ、そうなんだ。一安心だね。

健二：でもさ、これでもし直らなかったら…。

愛花：今度は買い直した方がいいかもしれないね？

健二：…うん。

愛花：なに？

健二：もっと怖がってくれたりすると、脅かし甲斐があるって言うか…。

Dang it. Pen ran out of ink. Again.

愛花：…。あ～ん、怖い～！…こ、こんな感じ？…でも、もうやらにからっ。

健二：（マナカちゃんの“あ～ん”は貴重かも！）

They hold hands as they walk together.

愛花：こういうの、好き？

健二：うん、まあね。

愛花：あ、照れてる。かわいい、ふふ！

Kenji calls Manaka out for a short date at the fountain park.

健二：なぁ、マナカちゃん…

愛花：ん？どうかした？

健二：ほら、なんか人目が無いからさ…な？

愛花：な？って…ダメでしょ？こんなところで。

健二：まぁまぁ！

愛花：ふふ、もぅ…。

…

愛花：はい、おしまい。人に見られちゃうから。

健二：気にしないで気にしないで。

愛花：気にして！また、すぐ会えるよね？じゃあね？

健二：ああ、またな。

The system has a memory of up to one month. Beyond one month all records of activities will be deleted. However, some events (special events, dates) can be locked so that they can be viewed later.

OK. Bad thing. I feel horrible right now. Not sure if it was the weather or the dusty office, but I feel like resting. Don’t want to fall sick either. I have a meet up to go to tomorrow, and I can’t go there while having an MC.

Never quite expected my life to intersect with my character that much.

Kenji returns home to rest.

健二：ふう…まだダルいな…。

Me too. Take care of yourself, Kenji. 

He goes to sleep early, but before he turns off the lights, he makes the time to send Manaka a mushy text.

I also realised I like to use the word “mushy”. I think it sounds funny.
