Kenji’s luck is looking great today.
忘れたことを思い出す
My luck was
really good today as well. 1 Ultra Rare (P=0.01) and 1 Super Rare (P=0.09) from
my School Idol Festival Honour Student draw, and another Ultra Rare from my
voucher draw (P=0.2).
Today in class…
担任:じゃあ次の問題は…。
健二:(う、目が合った…)
担任:はい、やってくれる?
…
担任:はい、よくできました。
健二:(勉強しておいてよかった…)
愛花:すごい!わたしの自慢のカレシだもんね?ふふ♥
Later on in tennis club…
健二:今日は先輩に勝てたぞ!絶好調だな!
愛花:大声で応援したら、やっぱり恥ずかしいよね?
I just
realised the amount of independence Kenji gets is even more than what even I
have. He gets to choose which classes he goes to, what to do for his free time,
and not even weather can stop him from going to tennis club. Meanwhile I work
an 8-6 job in a research institute 1 hour away from home and so my schedule is
seriously limited. Not that I hate my job, but damn. Kenji’s lifestyle is
impossible to emulate at all. I guess that’s why people choose to play dating
simulators.
Seeing that there is no one watching, Kenji kisses
Manaka at the tennis court. They break off once they hear footsteps.
Kenji then goes to the zoo.
健二:展示が休みの動物が多くて、なんか疲れたな…。
Finally, he goes to the harbour-front park during the
evening.
健二:こんなとこに休めそうな場所があったのか。彼女と来たとき、ゆっくりできそうだな。
As he returns home, he gets a message from Manaka.
愛花:今日はね、また眠くないよ。まだしばらく起きてよっと、ふふ♪
健二:〈気持ちを込めて返信〉
愛花:うん、返事ありがとう。またメールするね。
That trip to the harbour-front park gave him an idea,
and he calls Manaka to schedule a date for tomorrow.
愛花:はい、もしもし。
健二:俺だけど。
愛花:何か用事?べつに、なくてもかまわないんだけど。
健二:えっと…。4月19日、港の丘公園に行こうよ。どうかな?
愛花:期待通りでよかった。うん、いいよ。あとは当日も期待通りだと嬉しいな、なんて。じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか?
健二:そうだな…。5:00PM
I keep forgetting
that it is practically only in Singapore and Malaysia where the sun sets at
around 1900 hrs. Other countries have their sunset at around 1800 hrs.
愛花:うん、それでいいよ。
健二:じゃあ、5時0分に新とわの駅で。
愛花:ふふ…きっと今からその日まで、ずっとドキドキしちゃう。
健二:そっか、誘った甲斐があったよ。
愛花:じゃあ、またね。おやすみ。
健二:うん。おやすみ。
…
愛花:ほら。電話、切ろうよ。
健二:そっちだって。
愛花:切りたくないな…。じゃあ…好き!〈ビッ〉
健二:え!?(び、びっくりした)
Kenji goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him
