4^th day living alone. I feel like a poorly-written VN protag.

The two walk to school together.

愛花：ねぇ、ウサギを買うなら、どんな品種がいいかな？

健二：品種…ウサギってそんなに種いたっけ？

愛花：ネザーランドドワーフ、ロッピイヤー、アンゴラ…。
Manaka: Netherland dwarf, lop-ear, angora…

健二：…普通のでいいよ。童話なんかに出てくる白いやつ。

愛花：ジャパニースホワイト。

愛花：もう一回、言って。

健二：それでいいよ。なんで？

愛花：そっちじゃなくて、あとのほう。

健二：「白ウサギって可愛いし」。

愛花：ふふ♪だよね？

They hold hands as they walk to school.

During class, Kenji’s phone rings.

健二：もしもし。

愛花：もしもし。わたし、愛花だよ。今いい？

健二：いいよ、どうした？

愛花：あのね…。週末、デートしよう？ここでいいかな？（ショッピングモール）

健二：うん。いいよ。

愛花：じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？

健二：そうだな…。09:00AM

愛花：うん、それでいいよ。

健二：じゃあ、AM9時0分に新とわの駅で。

愛花：ふふ、決まりね。やった。

健二：うん。

愛花：じゃ、またね。

健二：うん。じゃあ、また。

健二：そっちだって。

愛花：嬉しそうだね？

健二：そりゃあまあ。マナカちゃんは嬉しくないの？

愛花：あんまり。だって、休みに入っちゃったら…。

健二：ん？なに？

愛花：…ううん。はやく、お休み終わらないかな…。

健二：（まだ始まってもいないのか…）

Manaka has made lunch for Kenji today.

愛花：今日のおかず、どうかな？

健二：うん、今日もうまい。いいのかねぇ、こんなにうまくて。

愛花：もっと褒めてくれてもいいよ？

健二：マナカちゃんの料理、もっと食べたいなー。

愛花：ふふっ、了解しました。次回もお楽しみに♥

Manaka sends Kenji a message.

愛花：もう年末ね。恋人だったら、やっぱり初詣は一緒に行くのかな。

Kenji evaluates his options:

1.       うん、そうだろうな

2.       さあ、めんどくさいだろ

The first option looks better.

愛花：ふふ、早く来ないかな

Kenji arrives at his workplace.

健二：そういえば、前の調査してた模範従業員の表彰結果、出てるはずだな…。…あ！俺の名前がある！普段から真面目に働いてたおかげかな。

愛花：ふふ、やったね？

Kenji calls Manaka out for a short date at the library. After talking for a while, they kiss.

During the evening, Kenji goes to the cinema.

健二：今やってる映画は…。シネマ１はネバー・タフ・ガイ、シネマ２はダーク・ヘルメットか。さて、どっちを観よう？

Try Dark Helmet (again). Even though I know you hate it. But you need to go there one last time to unlock that place for your date.

健二：よし、シネマ２に入ろう。

健二：ここなら、彼女と二人で来ても楽しいだろうな。

Manaka sends him a message.

愛花：まだ旅行の気分が抜けないの。頭がぼーっとして、変な気分。

She sent another to ask about what Kenji likes her to wear.

愛花：あのね。今度のデートに着ていくお洋服迷ってるの。健二くんはどういうのが好み？

Kenji evaluates his options:

1.       清楚なのっていいよな

2.       さっぱりしてがいいよ

3.       可愛いのに決まってる！

He chooses the first option.

愛花：そっか、参考にするね。でもあんまり期待しちゃダメよ？

Kenji returns home to sleep. As he goes to sleep, he imagines Manaka telling him:

意外にタウリンが豊富なのは？…はい、イカ！

What is surprisingly taurine-rich? That’s right, squid!
