Kenji goes for his date early. Manaka arrives shortly after.
愛花：今日は寒いね。こんな日に待たせて怒ってる？

健二：待ってないって。時間ぴったりだから。
愛花：髪型かえちゃった。どう？
Manaka has changed her hairstyle slightly to a twin-tail hairstyle.
健二：そうだな…。いいな、そういうの。
愛花：ふふ、やった
Manaka has decided to go for a more youthful style, so to say. With a
relatively short skirt and such.

They arrive at the amusement park. Manaka wants Kenji to decide where to
go.
He evaluates his options:

愛花：いいかも。じゃあ、行こっか？

愛花：もう少し怖くてもいいのにな。
健二：余裕だな、マナカちゃん…。
愛花：びっくりはするけど、怖くはない…かな？仕掛けがありそうな場所も、人が隠れてそうな場所もわかっちゃうし。
Seems like she found out where the monsters were hiding before they came out.
愛花：ちょっと損してるよね？素直に楽しめる人がうらやましい。
健二：（うん、かなり損してる気がするよ…主に、俺が）
Manaka tells him that she still has some time and wants to be with him
longer. Kenji suggests the zoo, as it is part of the stamp rally.
On the way to the zoo…
愛花：！今の、見た？すごく早く歩く、おおきいカメさん！

She is referring to the Galapagos giant tortoise.
健二：ラジコンか？それにして珍しいけど…。
愛花：ふふ。お目目がすごくかわいかった♥ あなたも見られたら良かったのに。
They arrive at the
zoo. Kenji suggests going to the lion exhibit. Manaka agrees excitedly.
愛花：あんまり動かないね？ライオン…。
健二：夜行性だからなぁ。
Info piece: Sleeping mainly during the day, lions are primarily nocturnal, although bordering on crepuscular in nature.
愛花：おっきい猫じゃらしがあれば、反応するかな？

to himself he maybe should change the way he calls Manaka.

Seeing no good options, he chooses
option 5.
They kiss at the Oku-Towano station
before returning.
On the way home from New Towano station,
Manaka comments about an unoccupied house that is along the way…
愛花：あのお家って、誰も住んでないのかな？ちょっと怖い雰囲気だよね？
健二：…なあ、知ってるか？あの家には、実は恐ろしい話があって…。
愛花：…もう、どうしてそんなに怖がって欲しいの？
健二：だってさ…。
愛花：ふふ！じゃあ、特別に怖がってあげる。ちゃんとわたしのこと、守ってね？
They arrive at Manaka’s house.
Before Manaka returns home, she goes to
Kenji one more time, saying that she forgot something (A goodbye kiss from
Kenji). Sensing an opening where the neighbours aren’t looking, Kenji goes for
it. He gets off to a bad start, but recovers sufficiently to leave Manaka
wanting more.
He takes a tour of the river, only to
meet Manaka on the way there.
Seriously, how many opportunities are there to randomly
meet friends on the street? I live in one of the most densely populated
countries in the world and that almost never happens. Or maybe because I don’t
have a lot of friends =_=
They talk for a while before going their
separate ways.
At the river tour, he thinks to himself
that the tour was quiet and relaxing.
During the late afternoon, he thinks to
himself that the “Best Employee of the Year” award is coming up soon. He
wonders if he will be selected.
健二：そういえば、今日は本部から人が来てるって言ってたな。なんでも全国の店舗から模範従業員を選出して表彰するとか…。俺も選ばれたりするかな…？

He goes to the Japanese snack bar during
the evening, where he has his favourite dessert, the matcha dumpling adzuki
bean mocha.
That’s quite a mouthful. I don’t think I translated it
well, though.
He returns home, where he receives a message
from a travel magazine,
健二：ん、メールだ。なんだこれ、懸賞？こんなの応募したっけ…。…。ああ、そういやWEBマガジンにそんなのあったっけ。…。熱海旅行一泊二日。ペアご招待…。おお、すげー。（熱海に一泊二日か。…うーん、どうしよう）
As he goes to sleep, he imagines Manaka
telling him:
