The first day of the month. Today’s start message is: 毎日寒いね。風邪ひかないでね。

Well it’s getting colder here in Singapore as well. Monsoon season is here, lads.  

Kenji receives a note that this a very important message has landed in his inbox.

彼女から大事なメールが届いています。メールコマンドで確認してください。

I wonder what the message is.

愛花：あのね。テレビで旅番組を観たの、旅行も楽しそう。健二くんはどう思う？

Manaka is planning on going on a trip with Kenji.

This is where things get interesting.

健二：いいかもな、行ってみたい。

愛花：うん、そね。行ってみたいかも。

They are going on a holiday together. Nice.

They walk to school together.

健二：ユニフォームの続報、届いたよ。

愛花：い、どうだったの？

健二：話自体は本当だったんだけど、流れちゃったって。よその部から〝なんでテニス部だけ？”ってクレームが出て。

愛花：そっか。ハァ、残念。ホントに…。

This is why we can’t have nice things, people.

健二：そう言えばさ。こないだ言い忘れたんだけど。

愛花：ん？なに？

健二：マナカちゃんは普段からカワイイぞ？

Whoa, don’t you think that is unexpected?

愛花：…もう、このタイミングで言うなんてずるい…！知らないっ！

健二：（タイミング…女の子って難しいな…）

During class…

健二：そういえば、もうすぐ期末テストか。勉強しておいた方がいいかな…。

Whoops! I’m on holiday for the entire test week. Good luck Kenji!

During lunch break…

健二：…前の話、どうなった？

愛花：前の話？あ！…一度、おばあさんのお家に、行くことになりました。

健二：ええ！？

愛花：ママと一緒に、お孫さんに会ってくる予定になってる。

健二：…でも、嫁とか…。

愛花：それは大丈夫。…かな？

健二：かな!?

愛花：うん、ママもいるし。だから、安心して？

健二：（ええ～!?）

I am really interested in what is going on here.

They walk home together.

健二：あのあと、ライバウルから有効な情報は引き出せた？

愛花：うん、まあ…。

健二：あれ、歯切れが悪いなぁ。

愛花：テニスの話はもちろんなんだけど…ほかのことも、いろいろ…。

健二：ほかのこと？

愛花：その…彼氏の話…。

健二：…俺？

愛花：うん。あと、彼女のお付き合いしてる人のこともね？それで、情報交換。

健二：…ええと？どんなことを？

愛花：それはホラ、あんなコトや、こんなコト？…うん、それはまた、いずれ！ね？

健二：（あんなコトやこんなコトって、いったい…）

During tennis club…

健二：（さて、練習だ…）

男子部員：あ、お前が付けてるそれって…。

健二：これが？

男子部員：最近出たやつだよな。もう手に入れたのか、いいなぁ。

健二：（流行を気にしてるおかげかな…）

愛花：ふふ、やったね？

Kenji calls Manaka out for a short date at the clubroom. They talk for a while before kissing.

During the evening, Kenji goes to the restaurant for his dinner

健二：常連になったからか、良い席に通してもらえるようになったな。

Kenji thinks to himself that he should go with his girlfriend to the restaurant some time.

He now has access to a new location near the seaside station: the bridge.

臨海駅周辺に新しいスポットが出現しました。（ベイブリッジ）

Am I the only one who wonders about the logistical implications of this game, as in how Kenji can support himself while doing all the activities he does? I can barely get by with my own allowance.

He receives an automated message:

恋人との旅行。それは二人
がずっと同じ時間を過ごす
ということ。瞬間瞬間が大
切な思い出、目を離しては
いけません！

As he goes to sleep, he imagines Manaka telling him:

ほら、こっち来て…。
