For the morning, Kenji goes for his tennis practice.

健二：今日は調子がいいな。このまま頑張るぞ！

愛花：やった、ナイスプレイ！その調子！

Kenji’s luck is still on the bad side today.

名前を間違って呼ばれる

Bite me. That happens to me all the time.

He goes to the classroom for his holiday tuition.

健二：今日は頭が冴えてるな。このまま講習がんばるぞ。

愛花：教科書には落書き禁止！ふふ！

Manaka: No writing in the textbooks! Hehe!

The textbooks are property of the school? Must be from the library.

He calls Manaka out for a date at the fountain park.

After talking for a while, they kiss. Par for the course. Also, Kenji completed his lucky charm requirement for today.

Manaka later sends him a text, wanting to meet him at 5 pm.

愛花：あのね。５時からって時間空いてる？会いたいな…なんて。

Approved. It’s solidly within working hours, though a bit late.

健二：もちろん行く！

愛花：よかった。家の前で待ってるから、またあとでね。

He goes to the botanical gardens for the late afternoon before meeting Manaka outside her house. It’s dark out by the time they meet.

愛花：うん、ジャスト。時間に正確な人って好きだな。

健二：ありがと。

They go to the fast food restaurant.

愛花：健二くん。一つだけ、聞いていい？

健二：うん、いいけど？

愛花：ね、質問。デートするとしたら、どういう場所に行きたい？

Is your memory really that poor, Manaka? You asked that exact same question yesterday. Never mind, Kenji will recap yesterday’s answer for you.

健二：そうだなぁ…。流行のところ、かな。

愛花：話題になっちゃうような？

健二：そうそう。やっぱさ、二人で制覇したいかな、と。

愛花：ふふ、そうだね。思い出、たくさん作れそうだし…。ん、了解。流行のところ、ね？

Kenji returns home to rest for the evening.

At least wait until after New Year’s Day before falling sick.

As he falls asleep, he imagines Manaka telling him:

わたしは、いつでも味方だから。

…because I’m always your ally.

Huh.

On a different note, I went on the Japanese Love Plus game guide wiki. There was a survey on favourite Love Plus girlfriends, but there was no easy way to count all the votes due to the poor programming on this. I had to send everything to Excel and do some formula voodoo to get this thing counting. Excel file available upon request. Just post in the comments.

The survey results were 215 votes for Manaka (not including mine), 301 votes for Rinko and 247 votes for Nene. I was able to post neither the results nor my vote because they block all non-Japan IP addresses from posting.

About the comments, there are some showing their affection for their chosen character, some split between two characters, some expressing their wish to marry their chosen character, and some who want to do some really lewd things to their chosen character (5 of them). Eh, par for the course.

Favourite comment of the thread: ﾘﾉ_・ﾘ It’s supposed to look like Rinko.

Worst comment of the thread: あいか. Shameful display to not know Manaka’s name after this long.

Towards the more recent entries, the thread was derailed and became some type of chat completely unrelated to the three characters or Love Plus in general. It seemed to be something about Ma’aya (some Japanese DJ), but I am completely unsure.
