He then goes for tennis.

健二：今日は調子がいいな。このまま頑張るぞ！

愛花：声、出していこうね！

Kenji then goes to the convention centre.

愛花：健二くん。

健二：マナカちゃん？

愛花：やっぱり、あなただった。

健二：えっ？

愛花：遠くから、ちらっと見えただけだったの。ふふ、追いかけてきてよかった。

He meets Manaka there. They talk for a while before they go their separate ways.

健二：っと、そろそろ行くかな。

愛花：そっか、そうだね。

健二：ああ、じゃあな。

愛花：じゃあね！

Today’s event in the convention centre is a baseball tournament. 十羽野アマ野球リーグ

健二：やっぱりイベントはいいな。次は彼女を連れて見に来たいな！

Manaka sends him a message.

愛花：あんなところで会えて、びっくりしちゃった。神様からのご褒美みたい！

He calls Manaka to schedule a date.

愛花：はい、もしもし。

健二：俺だけど。

愛花：何か用事？べつに、なくてもかまわないんだけど。

健二：えっと…。２月22日、映画館に行こうよ。どうかな？

愛花：期待通りでよかった。うん、いいよ。あとは当日も期待通りだと嬉しいな、なんて。じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？

健二：そうだな…。

Let’s make this a morning showing, shall we?

愛花：うん、それでいいよ。

健二：じゃあ、９時30分に小さい公園で。

愛花：ふふ…きっと今からその日まで、ずっとドキドキしちゃう。

健二：そっか、誘った甲斐があったよ。

愛花：じゃあ、またね。

愛花：ほら。電話、切ろうよ。

健二：そっちだって。

愛花：切りたくないな…。じゃあ…好き！〈ビッ〉

健二：え!?（び、びっくりした）

Kenji returns home to rest.

健二：よし、ゆっくりしよう…。

He goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him

アイスもう一本、当たれ～！

At this point I cease to be surprised by the sheer number of food-related musings from Manaka.
