Normally Children's Day where I live in will also be today based on the 1st Friday of October formula, but it is actually shifted one week ahead because of PSLE occurring within the first week of October.

愛花：健二くん。一つだけ、聞いていい？
健二：うん、いいけど？
愛花：ね、質問。デートするとしたら、どういう場所に行きたい？
健二：そうだなぁ…。

Kenji then goes for culture festival preparations.
健二：文化祭運営委員…面倒だな。
愛花：あなたって、いつもがんばってるよね。
After school, Kenji goes to the shopping mall to pick
out a gift for Manaka’s birthday.
健二；そういえば、来週はマナカ姫の誕生日じゃないか。プレゼントどうしよう…。

After some consultation with his wingman, he decides
to go to the accessories shop.

He looks at the selection they have:

- オシャレ眼鏡 青
- ピンクリストバンド
- やめておく
Kenji decides on the pink half-framed glasses.
健二：よし、これにしよう。マナカ姫、喜んでくれるかな。
愛花：ありがとうございましたー。
As Kenji goes to sleep, he imagines Manaka telling him

Strangely
that’s what I needed for tomorrow.
