It’s the
day before Manaka’s birthday, and also the day where I celebrate my birthday
with my family. Though it’s two days late, it can’t be helped: I was only able
to join my family yesterday late afternoon, and there was no time for
celebration.
Still, I
had to set the time back 6 hours since I returned to the hostel late.
Kenji goes for tennis practice in the morning.
健二：今日は調子がいいな。このまま頑張るぞ！
愛花：ファイト！と・わ・の！ふふ。
He then goes to the comic convention, where he
encounters Manaka.
愛花：健二くん。ちょうどあなたに連絡しようかなって思ってたの。ね、一緒にお勉強しない？
健二：ああ、テストが近いからか。そうだな…。
Kenji evaluates his options:

Not wanting to pass up this opportunity, Kenji chooses

They walk to Manaka’s house together.

健二：だな。
They go to Manaka’s room together.

Manaka sends Kenji off from the front door.

Kenji then goes for a live performance by the Pom Pom
Heads.
健二：ここ、人目につかなそうな場所もあったんだな。ここなら彼女と二人きりになれるかも…。
Kenji hurries over to the train station.
健二：マナカ姫は、まだ来てないみたいんだな。

愛花：ひょっとして、待たせちゃったのかな？
健二：ううん、今来たところ。

They take the train to the beach. After some walking,
they reach the beach.

Manaka becomes flustered.

Manaka looks on in silence.

She then falls asleep.
健二：（本当に寝ちゃった。こんなマナカ姫は貴重かも）
Manaka later wakes up and they walk outside the
planetarium, where they kiss.
愛花：これからも、たくさんしようね？
They take the train back to New Towano Station.
As Manaka walks back to her home, she doubles back,
wanting a goodbye kiss from Kenji.
愛花：引き止めてくれるの？…嬉しいかも。
They kiss outside Manaka’s home.
愛花：ね、いつかでいいから…お嫁さんにして欲しいな。…なんて。

Having completed his stamp rally for the month, Kenji
gets a new ringtone.

Kenji receives a message from the automated assistance
service.

He then goes to sleep, thinking about how he has
already prepared a present for Manaka.

He also imagines Manaka telling him

thing, among the reading list in my reading club for little children is a book
that had a charcter named Master Zutsu.
