Start of another event I will tier for (Detective Hanayo). Good thing I didn’t go scouting this time: those Love Gems would come in useful this time, and with the 50 that I saved from not scouting, I have more room to play around.

Kenji’s luck is not looking good today.

ラーメンがのびきる

They walk to school together.

健二：どう？ダンスの進み具合は。

愛花：えっ？あ、うん…。

健二：？

愛花：振り付けはカンペキなの。他のグループとはひと味もふた味も違う感じだし。

健二：うんうん。

愛花：それに、ダンスも全部、全員カンペキに覚えたし。だけど…。

健二：…だけど？

愛花：…ね、わたし、リズム感がないのかな。

You’ll be fine. I wager your piano skills are better than mine, so unless you have been playing like Noda Megumi, your sense of rhythm should be very good as well.

健二：え？だってマナカ姫、ピアノ弾けるし、小さい頃バレエも習ってたんだよな？

Good point, Kenji.

愛花：やっぱり、そう思うよね？わたしもそう思うんだけど。何がいけないのかな…うーん…。

健二：（つまずいてる？しかも、意外なところで）

Sounds like the most likely scenario that happened.

They hold hands as they walk to school together.

Kenji’s afternoon exams didn’t go well.

健二：今のテスト、最悪だったな…。

He then goes to the indoor swimming pool after exams.

健二：やっぱり水着…いやプールはテンション上がるな！うん、プール最高！

Finally in the evening, he goes to the amusement park.

健二：一人で来るのも悪くないな…。

He receives a message from Manaka.

愛花：このままじゃわたし、健二くんのことしか考えられなくなっちゃうな

Kenji evaluates his options:

• それもあり、かな？
• やばいな
• 俺はとっくにそうだけど？

健二：俺はとっくにそうだけど？

愛花：ほんとに？だったらわたしも、気にしない

He returns home and calls Manaka to schedule a date

愛花：はい、もしもし。

健二：俺だけど。

愛花：何か用事？べつに、なくてもかまわないんだけど。

健二：えっと…。５月24日、ボウリングに行こうよ。どうかな？

愛花：期待通りでよかった。うん、いいよ。あとは当日も期待通りだと嬉しいな、なんて。じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？

健二：そうだな…。７:30PM

愛花：うん、それでいいよ。

健二：じゃあ、PM７時30分に小さい公園で。

愛花：ふふ…きっと今からその日まで、ずっとドキドキしちゃう。

健二：そっか、誘った甲斐があったよ。

愛花：じゃあ、またね。おやすみ。

健二：うん。おやすみ。

…

愛花：ほら。電話、切ろうよ。

健二：そっちだって。

愛花：切りたくないな…。じゃあ…好き！〈ビッ〉

健二：え!?（び、びっくりした）

Kenji goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him.
