Kenji walks to school with Manaka.
健二：どうだった？音楽の伴奏は。

愛花：うん、ちゃんと弾けだよ？でも…。
健二：でも？
愛花：面白みが足りないって言われた。
健二：ははぁー。
愛花：もっとアドリブ入れてって。もう、ムチャムチャよ？河合先生って。

me: I may have played the piano, but I don’t do ad libs.
健二：してやられっぱなしだな？
愛花：本当に。だから、次はもっと自由に弾いてみちゃう。
健二：おぅ、やっちゃえ。
愛花：ふふふ！応援してね？
They hold hands as they walk together.
Again, I
predicted Manaka’s next sentence correctly. Then again, considering there are
only 2 commonly used scripts for holding hands, I wouldn’t be too impressed.
They share a quick kiss before going to school.
愛花：すごく、幸せな気分…。
There’s a musical skill test today.
音楽教師：はい、今日は実技のテストをしますよ。
健二：（実技…大丈夫かな…）
…
音楽教師：うん、素晴らしいですね。
健二：（普段から感性を磨いてるからかな…）
愛花：ふふ、やったね？
They walk home together.
I’m not
even going to predict Manaka’s script as she holds Kenji’s hand.
They share a quick kiss before going off.
愛花：あなただけで、いい…。
Kenji goes to the beach in the evening.
健二：やっぱり海は一人で来ても楽しいな。いい気分転換になった。
As promised to his wingman, Kenji schedules a date
with Manaka this Sunday at the convention centre.
愛花：はい、もしもし。
健二：俺だけど。
愛花：何か用事？べつに、なくてもかまわないんだけど。
健二：えっと…。３月15日、イベントホールに行こうよ。どうかな？
愛花：期待通りでよかった。うん、いいよ。あとは当日も期待通りだと嬉しいな、なんて。じゃあ、持ち合わせは何時にしようか？
健二：そうだな…。
This is a
vocal concert, so I guess an evening timing would be a good idea.
健二：7:00PM
愛花：うん、それでいいよ。
健二：じゃあ。PM７時０分に新とわの駅で。
愛花：ふふ…きっと今からその日まで、ずっとドキドキしちゃう。
健二：そっか、誘った甲斐があったよ。
愛花：じゃあ、またね。おやすみ。
健二：うん。おやすみ。
…
愛花：ほら、電話、切ろうよ。
健二：そっちだって。
愛花：切りたくないな…。じゃあ…好き！〈ビッ〉
健二：え!?（び、びっくりした）
Kenji then receives a text from Manaka.
愛花：ほんとはね、わたしから誘おうかなって思ってたの。誘ってくれて、ありがとう
健二：早く会いたい
愛花：うん…今すぐにでも会いたいな…。ごめんね、わがまま言って。じゃあね
I just want
to see how the universe would implode when Manaka meets her voice actor.
Kenji goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him
尊敬する造形師は…運慶かな？
Hmmm…
