Manaka is feeling thirsty, so they go to the fast food
restaurant.

Japan National Tourism Organization, the sakura flowers start to bloom between 21 and 23 March
and fully bloom between 29 and 31 March this year for major cities within a
1-hour bullet train ride to Atami (Shizuoka and Yokohama). This means that the
sakura flowers are already in bloom right now. The latest to see the sakura
flowers bloom are those in Hokkaido, who only get to see them bloom between 4
and 8 May, while the earliest are those in Okinawa, who get to see them bloom
10 to 31 January.

Yesterday’s
Japanese class was about informal past tense form. One of the new verbs
introduced was 着く. No
surprise I already know how it is conjugated.
…and start bowling.
愛花：ふふっ、やった！
健二：ナイス・ストライク！よぉし、俺も続くぞー。
愛花：うん、がんばってね？
健二：おう！マナカちゃんを超えてみせる！
Uh oh…
Manaka immediately puts on a serious expression.
愛花：…それはダメ。わたし、絶対に負けないんだから。

They take the train to Oku-Towano station.

健二：ああ、たしかに。
愛花：愛する人と一緒に住んでたら、なおさら。わたしもそうなれるといいな…。
Manaka wants Kenji to hold her hand, which he willingly
obliges.
They kiss on the way to the river.

At the river…
愛花：自転車、借りられるんだね？
健二：あ、ホントだ。レンタルして、競争すっか！
愛花：競争じゃなくて、のんびり楽しみたいな。
Even

Manaka is feeling hungry, so they go to the riverside
restaurant for lunch.

They walk back to Oku-Towano station.
愛花：今日は、また素敵な思い出が増えちゃった。これもカノジョの特権だよね。もう少し、いいかな…。
They kiss at the station.
It’s time to return home.
健二：そろそろ帰ろうか。
愛花：うーん…うん。もうこんな時間だもんね？
They take the train back to New Towano Station. From
there they walk back to Manaka’s house.
愛花：ふふ、かわいいカップル。
健二：ああ…中学生かな。
愛花：かな？手繋いでる、いいな…。
健二：いいな…。
愛花：もう、お互い何言ってるんだろね？ふふ。
They arrive back at Manaka’s house.
Kenji touches Manaka, but clueless as he is, he
touches Manaka’s shoulder at the wrong time.
Manaka immediately withdraws and covers her shoulder
with her both hands.
愛花：…そういうの、ダメだよ。
That’s a
rather strong message.
Anyway, since Kenji hasn’t completely pissed Manaka
off yet, he still manages to kiss Manaka.
愛花：…やめないで。
Manaka is left wanting more, which Kenji happily
obliges.
愛花：これからも、たくさんしようね？
After kissing, Manaka returns to her house.
健二：忘れ物はもうない？
愛花：うん。ちゃんと届いたみたい…好きよ。
Kenji returns home.

健二：今日は結構きまってるな。ちょっとカッコいいかも！
Kenji goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him
