As he sets off for tennis practice, he receives a text.

健二：ん、メールだ。

He wonders what’s in it.

健二：なんだこれ、懸賞？これって、もしかして…。

He reads for a while

健二：…。

and finds out that he has won another trip for 2 to Atami. Again. 

健二：熱海旅行一泊二日。ペアご招待…。

Why don’t I ever get this kind of offers?

健二：やっぱり…また当たった。俺って強運？（どうしよう。またマナカ姫と行けるかな…）

Then again, getting to go for a cultural immersion program this summer isn’t all that bad, right?

I mean, this time I get to go to Japan by myself. For 3 weeks even.

Probably would get lonely though.

Don’t worry you two: I’ll search for that beach for you all. Put that legend to rest.

Kenji meets Manaka on the way to school.

愛花：健二くん。

健二：マナカ姫、おはよ。

愛花：おはよ！今日から冬期講習だよ。

健二：ああ、そうだな！…ダメだ、今ので元気使い切った。

愛花：もう、わたしのわけで上げるから。行こ！

They walk to tennis practice together.

愛花：この前ね、急患の人がやって来て…。

健二：へえ。マナカ姫の家って救急指定病院？

愛花：そうじゃないけど、来た人を断れないでしょ。家族に運ばれて来たおじいさんだったの。

健二：なんで救急車呼ばなかったんだろ？

愛花：救急車が嫌いなんだって。あと周りの迷惑になるからって。

健二：でもマナカ姫の家は迷惑だったかもな。

愛花：大事な患者さんだもん。パパも、診るのは当然だって。

健二：うんうん、立派だよな。それで、おじいさんは？

愛花：救急車で救急センターへ。危ないところだったけど、その後は無事に。

健二：結局乗ったんだな。助かったなら、いいけど。

Kenji then goes for winter tuition.

健二：今日は頭がさえてるな。このまま講習がんばるぞ。

愛花：ひとつひとつ、確実にね？

Seeing as no one in class is looking, he moves in to kiss Manaka.

愛花：ん？どうかした？

健二：ほら、誰も見てないし、な？

愛花：もしかして…今ここで？

健二：…ダメ？

愛花：悪いんだ。見つかっても、知らないから。

He manages to kiss Manaka.

愛花：わたしって、幸せだよね…。

After kissing, Manaka playfully tells off Kenji for kissing in school.

愛花：メッ！学校でこんなことして、反省しなさい。

健二：はーい。

愛花：ふふ♥

As they walk back from school

健二：マナカ姫。

愛花：なに？

健二：実はまた当たったんだ。熱海旅行。

愛花：ほんと？すごい…。

健二：うん、だからさ。また一緒に行かない？

愛花：…うん。また、行きたい。

健二：そっか、よかった。

愛花：いつにしようか？

健二：そうだな…。

Kenji looks at his schedule carefully.

Take 9^th January: there’s an extra day on Monday for you to rest after the holiday.

健二：じゃあ。１月９日からの１泊２日で！

愛花：うん！

健二：（またマナカ姫と旅行に行けるぞ！）

Kenji then goes to the convention centre for a Baroque concert.

健二：やっぱりイベントはいいな。次は彼女を連れて見に来たいな！

If you do, make sure you don’t fall asleep.

He returns home to receive a message from Manaka.

愛花：来年の初詣、一緒に行かない？来年もずっと健二くんと来年もずっと健二くんと過ごしたいなって思うし、どうかな

健二：もちろん行く！

No question he would accept it.

愛花：ふふ、ありがと。ママに着付けしてもらわなきゃ
