健二：そういえば、美術の授業で描いた絵をコンクールに出すらしい…。結果が出るのはまだ先だけど、どうなるかな？

You won’t be participating in that contest since I will be in Europe for the entire of next week.

They walk home from school together.

健二：マナカ姫。

愛花：なに？

健二：実はまた当たったんだ。熱海旅行。

愛花：ほんと？すごい…。

健二：うん、だからさ。また一緒に行かない？

愛花：…うん。また、行きたい。

健二：そっか、よかった。

愛花：いつにしようか？

Be advised, I will be completely unavailable for the next two weekends.

Kenji then goes to the live house for a performance by a jazz group.

健二：やっぱりジャズはいいな。スウィングしなけりゃ意味がない！

Kenji receives a message from Manaka as he returns home.

愛花：寝苦しい季節だけど、体は冷やさないようにね？おやすみ

健二：〈気持ちを込めて返信〉

愛花：ふふ、やっぱりメールだけじゃなくて会いたくなっちゃうな。なんて

He then goes to sleep. He imagines Manaka telling him
