愛花：健二くん。
健二：マナカ姫？
Manaka shows up in a swimsuit. It’s a dark blue
single-piece swimsuit.
And this is
how I end up searching “swimsuit” in Wikipedia. And yet I still can’t describe
what the hole at the back of the swimsuit is.
健二：…。
愛花：どうかな？スクール水着じゃ、似合うも似合わないもない？
Standard
issue?
健二：こんなことないよ。マナカ姫、スタイルいいしさ。
愛花：…エッチ。
健二：ええ？そういう意味じゃないって！
Falling
back. Deal with her yourself, Kenji.
愛花：ふふ、わかってます！それじゃあね。
Manaka then walks away to the pool to join her class.
健二：マナカ姫…。（プールの授業、これからも楽しみだな！）
Manaka has made lunch for Kenji today as well.
健二：ん、今日の中華もうまい！
愛花：ふふ、よかった。
健二：でもさ、いつも大変じゃないか？こんな豪華なお弁当…俺は嬉しいけど。
愛花：ぜんぜん。だって、あなたの笑顔がわたしにとってはご馳走だから。…なんて。ね、次は何が食べたい？
It’s time to go home.
健二：さて、帰るか。
Kenji sees Manaka at the shoe lockers.
健二：（あ、マナカ姫…）
He decides to call out to Manaka.
健二：オッス！
愛花：健二くん。
健二：一緒に帰ろうか？
愛花：うん、もちろん♥
They then walk home together.
愛花：アコちゃんからまた相談されちゃって…。
健二：不眠の従姉か。
愛花：不眠じゃなくてなかなか寝つけない、っていうことなんだけど…いい解決方法ないかな？
健二：寝る前にバッティングセンターに行って、さんざん体力を使ったらどうかな。
愛花：女の子だから、そういうのはちょっと…。
健二：羊を五万匹まで数えるとか。

愛花：羊を数えるのは何回もやったみたい…。
健二：食べ物で何かないかなこう、体と心をリラックスさせるような。
愛花：でも寝る前に何か食べるのって体に良くないよね。
健二：負担にならないような軽いもので…何かないかな。
愛花：うーん…。
They hold hands as they walk home together.
Kenji then goes to the shopping mall to buy a present
for Manaka.
健二：（そうか。マナカ姫にプレゼントしようと思ってたんだ）
He evaluates his options on where to go.

He decides to go to the cosmetics shop.
店員：いらっしゃいませー。
健二：プレゼント、ここで買おうかな…。
What’s in the shop?
- ブルースリッパ (Why would slippers be sold in a cosmetic shop?)
- ラベンダーアロマ
- ハニーバスセット
- やめておく
Kenji decides on the lavender aroma pack.
健二：（よし、次に呼び出したときに渡そう）
店員：ありがとうございましたー。
Kenji returns home.
愛花：旅行、楽しみね。すごくワクワクしてるけど、それよりもっとドキドキしてる…かも。
Kenji evaluates his options.
- 俺もドキドキしてる…
- どうってことないな
健二：俺もドキドキしてる
He imagines Manaka telling him
期待させて…させて…そして裏切るの？
