This is a diary of sorts of my Love Plus character, Kojima Kenji, as he navigates his way around winning the affection of his girlfriend, Takane Manaka.
The idea for this started out with a Deutsche Welle segment on dating simulators in Japan, a small discussion on Reddit, and a German magazine article about computers and love on this. After some thought, I decided to take the plunge and see for myself how a dating simulator worked, since I already have a DS Lite and a flash cart ready to go.
It also was appropriate, that the dating simulator that I loaded (Love Plus+ for DS) was a slightly older version of that featured in the DW segment (NEW Love Plus+ for 3DS).
I started out with the original version (Love Plus) with my rudimentary skill of Japanese, then I switched over to the English fan-translated version once I found out it existed. I still switch save files back to the original Japanese version because translation may remove some subtle nuances present in Japanese but absent in English. I once had a save file there, but I removed it because of some poorly-executed cheats. I have completely moved on to the upgraded version.
I later moved on to the upgraded version (Love Plus+) due to the addition of newer game mechanics (arguments, sickness) and events (culture festival, summer vacation). However, the only translation for this version is in Chinese, and the translation job is way rougher than the English translation for Love Plus. Just like the older version, I switch back to the Japanese version if needed.
This logbook started out in English, but to train up my German for the TestDaF that will be on 13 November, I started logging in German starting 26 October. Suggestions for improving my grammar are welcome and encouraged.
As a final note, I would like to apologise to everyone named Kojima Kenji.

Das hier ist ein Tagesbuch von meinen Love Plus Charakter, Kojima Kenji, als er die Beziehung zwischen er und seine Freundin, Takane Manaka, unternimmt.
Das Idee für das kommt, wenn ich eine Deutsche Welle Sendung über Datingsims in Japan sah. Nach eine kleine Diskussion in Reddit und einer interessanter Beitrag im P.M. Magazin 05/2014, dachte ich, dass ich dieser Spiel unterprüfen soll. Dass ich ein DS Lite und eine Flashkarte habe, kann ich schnell gehen.
Es war auch angebracht, dass der Datingsim, der ich geladet hat (Love Plus+ für DS), ist eine ältere Version als die Version (New Love Plus+ für 3DS), die in der DW-Sendung gebieten hat.
Dieser Tagesbuch hat auf Englisch angefangen, aber weil ich für TestDaF vorbereiten soll, seit 26. Oktober habe ich auf Deutsch aufgenommen. Vorschläge zur Verbesserung meiner Grammatik sind willkommen und erwünscht.
Als Ende möchte ich an alle, die Kojima Kenji hieß, entschuldigen.
