As they walk together
to school, they discuss about what they do when they are unable to fall asleep.
Kenji says he thinks about Manaka when he is unable to fall asleep.
Manaka, after asking him if he was serious or just saying that to be smooth (Either he’s serious, or he is ridiculously
smooth, because I am actually convinced by him), tells him that she talks
to her cousin when that happens. They hold hands, to which Manaka comments that
Kenji’s hand is sweaty. (LOL)
Manaka is an only
child.
They walk home together after classes as Kenji is going to
his part-time job later. They discuss about some Japanese children’s song. 鳩ぽっぽ is what they were
discussing about.
Interesting little
ditty.
As he drifts off to sleep, he imagines her saying 親子丼が食べたかったね。
I think
that means “I want to eat chicken and egg rice.” How good’s your cooking,
Kenji?
Also,
whaaaaaaaaaaat?
