Kenji goes for tennis for the morning.

Kenji later goes for library work, where he is
approached for help to look for a book.
女子：あの、この本借りたいんですけど…。
健二：はい…。

健二：はい、どうぞ。
女子：ありがとうございます、丁寧に教えてくれて…。
愛花：すごい！わたしの自慢のカレシだもんね？ふふ♥
He then goes to the bay bridge.
健二：やっぱりいい雰囲気の場所だな。眺めも良いし、潮風が気持ちいいな。
Apparently today’s ennichi
is special because it marks the tail end of Obon.
Kenji is outside Manaka’s house.
健二：やっぱ夜でも暑いな…。
It’s hot
and humid here. I know your feel.
愛花：健二くん。お待たせ。
Manaka shows up in her yukata.
健二：マナカ姫。浴衣、似合ってるな。
愛花：ふふ、ありがとう。
健二：じゃあ、神社行くか。
They go to the shrine for the festival.
愛花：人、多いね？
健二：だなあ…お、あっち、空いてそう。行ってみよ。
愛花：うん。
They walk to a more quiet spot at the shrine.
愛花：…人がいないワケがわかっちゃったね。
They hear the sound of fireworks in the distance.
健二：…だな。花火の音しか聞こえないとは思わなかった…。
After some more fireworks, Manaka speaks up.
愛花：どうする？戻る？
健二：んー。マナカ姫がよければ、このままいない？夜景、綺麗だしさ。
愛花：…実はね、わたしもそう思ってたの。それに…あなたと、ゆっくりできるし。
健二：だな。なあ、花火は今度、二人でするってのはどう？
愛花：それ、いいね。わたし、線香花火、したいな。
They return back to Manaka’s house.
愛花：送ってくれてありがとう。…優しいね。
健二：やっぱ、夜遅いしさ。
愛花：ふふっ、またね？
健二：あぁ、じゃあな。
Kenji returns home. He imagines Manaka telling him
