Including the time lag is starting to get
depressing, so I won’t include it. Also because calculating it is a bit
tedious.

健二：マナカちゃん、おはよ。
愛花：おはよ！夏季講習のおかげで、一緒に学校に行けるね。
健二：うん、それがいいところだな。
愛花：それも、だよ。ついでに勉強もしよ？なんて。

愛花：ねぇ、今度、スポーツショップにつきあってくれる？
健二：いいよ。なに買うの？
愛花：シューズを新調しようかなって。頑張ればまだ履けるけど、だいぶ磨り減ってきたから。タイミングもいいし、ガットも張り替えようと思って。
健二：そっか。俺のも張り替えるべきかな…。

愛花：前はいつ張り替えたの？
健二：…いつだっけ。
愛花：いちおう、３ヶ月ごとに張り替えたほうが良いからしいけど…。
Bow strings don’t need to be replaced nearly
that often though: replacements are only in order when the serving has worn out
or the string snaps.
The second problem is not really likely to
happen since my bow string is made out of the same fibre as bulletproof vests.
Not only has my racket not been used since
2008, its strings haven’t been changed since it was bought when I was in
primary school. It’s so old that the grip has completely flaked off.
健二：…やっぱやるべき？
愛花：そのほうがいいと思う…。でもすごい。それであんな風にプレイできるなんて尊敬しちゃう…本当にすごいね。
健二：（ヘンなところで尊敬されちゃったよ…）

健二：実はまた当たったんだ。熱海旅行。
愛花：ほんと？すごい…。
健二：うん、だからさ。また一緒に行かない？
愛花：…うん。また、行きたい。
健二：そっか、よかった。
愛花：いつにしようか？
健二：そうだな…。
