As they walk to the beach, they see a bicycle passing
by them.
愛花：今、通り過ぎた自転車…本当はいけないことだよね？
In most countries, bicycles are not allowed on pavements.
健二：ああ、二人乗りはダメだな。
Turns out the issue wasn’t the fact that the bicycle
was on the pavement, but rather there are two people on it.
If you have watched Gekkan Sho(u)jo Nozaki-kun, you would
know this is not allowed if the bicycle isn’t a tandem bicycle.

Manaka wants Kenji to hold her hand as they walk to
the beach.
They kiss on the way as well.

They stop over at the rest stop at the beach 海の家, where Manaka changes to her bikini.
健二：ハァ…夏が終わっていく。
愛花：なぁに？ため息なんかついちゃって。学校、好きだけどな？わたし。お休み中よりもあなたと会えるし…。
健二：うん…。そうなんだけどさー…。
愛花：あ、わかった。宿題が終わってないんでしょう？

to the botanical gardens.

愛花：…もう、どうしてそんなに怖がって欲しいの？

They hold hands and kiss as they walk to the gardens.
As they enter the gardens…

健二：ん？
愛花：ごめんなさい。うたた寝しちゃった…重くなかった？

They kiss in the gardens, and Manaka is left wanting

After the date, they have lunch at the nearby Japanese
snack house.

愛花：うん。ススキはもう用意したからあとはお供え物の準備しなきゃ。
健二：やっぱりその辺りはマナカ姫の役目なんだ？

It’s time to return home. They kiss at the station
before taking the train back to New Towano Station.

They reach Manaka’s house. Manaka walks back home, but

For completing this month’s stamp rally, Kenji gets a
new ringtone.

Kenji receives a message from Manaka.

健二：だめだ、行けない。
愛花：そっか、無理なら仕方ないね。ごめんね、急に誘っちゃって
He then goes to the river for a tour.
健二：ここ、人目につかなそうな場所もあったんだな。ここなら彼女と二人きりになれるかも…。
He returns home to rest.
健二：暇だけど…。何かする元気もないな。
As he goes to sleep, he imagines Manaka telling him.
一晩寝かせたカレーライス。
